I love this new icon that [livejournal.com profile] slightlytookish made me! Now I have a holiday icon, yay! Anyone who doesn't get it can go here to read the Yule story I wrote a couple of days ago.

In other news, we had a pretty good snow today. I'd guess at about seven inches here. Very pretty, but the roads were not fun.

We're planning to do some snowshoe hiking tomorrow. In order to do this, of course, I need snowshoes. But that has been all taken care of. We did an early Christmas exchange here and [livejournal.com profile] lyda_pearl got me snowshoes and poles. Tomorrow should be fun!

Oh! but that's on my card too! :)))
I got it this morning! Thanks a lot, it is really, really lovely, and I love the way you made it!
Now I have to read your story! For some reason I missed it when you posted it.
Thanks again, and have fun tomorrow! Snowshoe hike is great (if only we had snow here...)

I'm glad you got the card. When I saw that grumpy-looking Santa stamp, I knew it had to be the one for my cards, lol!

Hope you had fun snowshoeing. It doesn't sound the northern climes will have any problems having a white Christmas this year. (Northern Minnesota got 20-some inches earlier this week. We only got about 6 here in the Twin Cities.)

Got my card this week, too! Thank you so much!

Now I really should go write my Christmas cards...I really should...

I do think it's pretty likely it will be a white Christmas here. Of course, I'm heading south to Philadelphia for Christmas and Mississippi for New Year's so there's less chance *I'll* be having a white Christmas, and that's honestly quite all right, considering we're driving about three thousand miles round trip. Clear skies and dry roads are what we're hoping for, lol.
