One step done: Got my FAFSA submitted yesterday. Of course, it takes three to four days to be processed before it will be sent to the schools I listed and the Pitt deadline is Sunday, so it's gonna be tight, but I'll call Pitt today and let them know it's on it's way.

Now for figuring out who to invent find for my academic references...

Way to go, getting the FAFSA in! I think Hubby still has to do stepson's, but he hasn't even mentioned it yet; maybe he is letting stepson do it for himself.

Where is the Stepson applying? Some schools have deadlines that differ from the state deadlines, so you want to make sure that nothing is getting missed.

SS is going to HACC once again. This time with his girlfriend pushing him to do well. Let's hope she has more influence over him than any of us did! ;)

Hurray! One step in the arduous anxiety producing process done! Good luck with the rest of them, and remember to keep celebrating each step you accomplish. It makes the process easier, and I suppose if you celebrate in the right way, it might even make it fun.

Thanks. There are talks of a girls' night out next week, so I can look forward to that as a celebration of getting started and completing at least one step. :)
