All about the fic

You know, I've written so many little bits and pieces of things, drabbles and bits of fluff, that I failed to ever properly store somewhere. So today I've been going back through and trying to find all the bits and pieces that I know I should have somewhere but can't find anywhere.

I went all the way back through hobbit_ficathon to the very beginning and I'm still missing at least two LotR ficlets. I must have just posted them in my journal, but I have no idea when, and I may just leave them missing for the moment. I have them stored on my webpage, so I can find them there if I need them.

I've also spent a fairish amount of time going through and organizing all of my fics. So far I've managed to sort all the LotR stuff into Pre-, During or Post-Quest, but haven't yet got them into proper chronological order within those categories. However, it's been a long time since I've last looked at or even thought of many of these fics and I find I don't have a clue what most of them are, so I've been having to call each one up (on my computer that takes thirty seconds to two minutes each time it wants to change screens) - a bit of a maddening process. I'm feeling an attack of the orderlies, however, so I'm going with it. *grins*

Boy do I know that feeling! I think I've managed to actually lose anything just yet, but I've got tons, and I really prefer to have them in "chronological" order when I can manage it... Someday oh someday!

*grin* Boy do I know *that* feeling! I'm trying hard now to keep my chronology at SoA current, because if I let it slide even a little bit, I get totally lost!

I did that 'what I wrote in 2005 meme' and I found two stories that I had forgotten. One was on Hobbit_Ficathon. I would love to organize my fictions too but so far I haven't had the nerve to go near that project! Right now, I have been posting some older ones to Stories of Arda. It's mostly old Challenge stories and a Hobbit_ficathon entry or two. If I can't get them in order then at least I might be able to put them all in one place. Maybe?

good luck with organizing~ i guess i should do that sometime but i don't have *that* much fic up...though perhaps the drabbles could be chronologized. :P
