Thanks to pip_brandygin and everyone else who provided help and put up with my random questions while attempting to re-do my lj. It is Done! Woohoo! I'm pretty happy with the new look. It's amazing what a person like me, who knows nothing about using code, can do. Even more amazing what can be done by people who really know what they are doing!

Right, I am now off to write a fake newspaper article. This is an assignment which has been filling me with dread all week. I'm supposed to write an article that looks like it could be found in a real newspaper. Unfortunately, I'm not a journalist, so the results could be less than successful.

Wish me luck. I need it!

Thanks! So far I haven't made much progress, lol. Spent an hour watching an episode of Farscape -- hey, it was research! Then came over here to procrastinate a little more. Llinos volunteered to beta for me and now I just need to write something for her to beta! If only I could concentrate...

when I had to do it, I just read one newspaper article several times until I had an idea of the style and word count, and then had a go. It helps ^_^

Thanks. I might do that. I got a good start on it last night, but after the first couple of paragraphs, I got completely blown off course, so it will involve some major rewrites, lol.
