Yep, it's still spring! I'm obsessing, I know, but I was beginning to think winter was a permanent state up here. It may take me a little while to get over the whole 'it's not freezing and dark anymore' thing.

This is my week to have Friday off, so tomorrow is a playday for me. Yay! Not that I have any specific plans, but it's just good to know that I don't have to be at work.

A day off is always nice! And we have had a lovely day too. The snow is melting rapidly now. :D

Thank you, I will. I've been giving some thought to driving to Littleton to go to the bookstore, but I still haven't driven more than ten miles or so on my own and it's kind of a barrier. I should probably go, just to know that I can do it, but it's hard to make myself.

One of the first "more than 10 mile, interstate highway" drives I took was driving you to Lancaster from Angelica to buy a baby shower gift for your kindergarten teacher. We went to Watt & Shand to the children's department. It was a day when Grandma was working, so she introduced us to all her co-workers and then took us to select the gift. I think it was a special dish for feeding the baby. Then, if I remember correctly, we had a snack at the basement snackbar.

So, go ahead. Drive to Littleton! Have an adventure - and think of your dear old Grandma and older sis while you have it.

Wow, I would never, ever have remembered that on my own, but I do sort of remember it now that you've reminded me.

*is very pleased to have a new Big Sis and Grandma memory*

I have a few chores to do first, but I really do think I'll head out in a little while, and have an adventure. :)

“The susurrus of humanity.” I like that. Spring is great, particularly the blue sky days. (It’s warmed up here, but we’ve had mostly rainy weather. The snow’s melting, though, and the birds are chirpety-chirping outside the windows.) Have fun on your day off!

Thanks! :) Yup, mine. That is my favorite picture from the 20-week ultrasound. And since everything is going well, I’m not sure how big s/he (we don’t know) is now. About the right size for 31 weeks, I’m told. :)

Thanks. I believe we're supposed to get thunderstorms later in the weekend, so the blue sky days are numbered, but there's something very exhilirating about spring storms as well, so I'm not really that disappointed about it, lol.

Yes! Spring really is wonderful. Today I actually got out and rode my bike. It never came out of Mom's basement all last year, so this is a big event. I hope your spring weather, and mood, continue.

Hey! I've got today off, too! Time to catch up on LJ, housework (ugh), gardening (yes!) and enjoy an absolutely gorgeous Spring day! I may actually get around to posting my own LJ update today. There is always hope. ;-)

Enjoy your day!

Happy day off! I've got to do some housework as well, but mostly, I have to break through my fear of driving and head to the bookstore (about an hour away). It's really pathetic to be afraid to go any further than the next town over unless I have someone with me.

Did you enjoy your day off? I did very little with mine, other than read fanfic - sometimes I need someone to physically intervene and just turn my computer off for me, otherwise I just get stuck. *sigh*

Yeah, though it turned out to be a bit cloudy/rainy...you know me, I don't mind the rain! :D
