auntiemeeshI'm in! I got accepted at Pitt! Woot!
Okay, enough with the exclamation marks. Phew, I was starting to get nervous. Although it hasn't been a full eight weeks yet since I submitted everything, I called this afternoon just to make sure Pitt had received everything - one of my fears was that they were missing something that I thought they had and I would just never hear from them. Turns out the registrar's office only sent my undergrad, not my grad transcript, but the woman I spoke with today said she didn't need to wait for that. I've been accepted.
I won't receive my letter for a little bit still, as someone who needs to sign something is on vacation until the 15th, but I don't care. Now I can relax just a little. This will make the job and apartment search a little easier. And I can start stressing over things like financial aid, and OMG, going back to school after ten years of total brain lethargy.
