angry spam 1

So, I was pretty sure I wouldn't need to rant about work again for a while. I was wrong.

I usually work 9:30 to 5:30 on Fridays. Today I have to work 8 to 5:30. Good, sounds like fun. My roommate offered me a ride to work, which I accepted gratefully as it's raining outside. So I got here at 7:35 and found that the 7:30 person wasn't here and a parent was waiting with her child. Great! The day gets better already! So I invite the child into the room (I'm not actually on the clock yet, but oh well) and hang out until the missing teacher shows up late, for the second time this week.

Then I go off to have a cuppa and check my email and such before eight o'clock. Get a phone call that one of the other teachers isn't coming in today. That makes three people off today and leaves me and the morning teacher alone with probably twelve kids until 12:30. This, of course, is completely out of ratio according to state requirements, but hey, just makes the day all that much better!

Someone had better find some help for us. This is all I have to say on the matter. Help had better be provided. If I get told that there simply isn't anyone to help, I may go postal.

I am sorry, I know this sucks, but I had to laugh when I read the title: Angry Spam 1. I shall await Angry Spams 2 and 3 and 4 andcetera.

Other than that: HUGS! At least it's Friday, right? Just one sucky day and then you get the weekend. (Please don't say you work on Saturdays, or I may start crying for you.)

It's so sad, isn't it? I babysat tonight and I'm babysitting again tomorrow night. But at least I have a date tomorrow afternoon. That should help. Thanks for the good thoughts. :)

The sad part is, I kinda like babysitting. It's a chance to get out of the house, even if it's only taking care of somebody's kids. Tonight should be easy cause I start at 7 and the kid goes to bed at 7:30. Then I get to sit back and watch TV. :)

Spam should really come in categories, don't you think. That way everyone knows what they're getting, right from the get go. LOL!

Oh! This reminds me when I was a stand by teacher. I hated it so much! They thought they could just make a phone call telling they couldn't come. Well, they were wrong!
