Mm, homemade Indian food, can't be beat!

uisceboo had a dinner party tonight in honor of some friends who made a stop-over on a road trip. She made a variety of really yummy dishes, including cranberry chutney, pumpkin dahl, some sort of lime pepper dish, a rice and chicken dish, as well as several other things, none of which I remember the name to.

I really enjoyed meeting Whiskey's friends and hope they have a fun (not too tiring) trip across country.

I'm glad I had lunch before I read this, otherwise I would be suffering from excruciating mouth-watering envy. I had the usual - lentil glop, but for the purposes of this message I will call it "green lentil-blackeyed pea dahl". Sounds much more exotic, doesn't it?
