So I have successfully managed to download a Doctor Who episode. I've opened it up with my Windows Media Player and started it. Only one little problem, no video - just audio. So I go to the help menu and learn about codecs and check my file. It seems to be only an audio file, with no video codec listed. Now what do I do?

*bashes head against hard surface until pretty stars appear*

Edit: It works! I have a fully functional download, complete with video, on my newly downloaded VLC Media Player.

try the vlc player.

I remember downloading a codec so I could watch bsg from buggs, but I can't remember which codec I needed.

I should say also, I'm 98% positive it's not an audio-only file. I think it's the same source I downloaded from.

Amazingly enough, it seems to work! Now I just need to find better torrents of Bad Wolf, whatever came after that, and the Christmas episode, so that New Earth makes sense. Not that I'm going to wait for that before I watch it, lol.
