Jan. 11th, 2009 08:12 pmWell, that was a fun game to watch. I forgot all about it until the pizza guy showed up wearing his Black & Gold, of course, because I'm really not sports oriented. lyda_pearl called halfway through the third quarter so she could listen in (she doesn't have a tv and the game wasn't being aired on the radio in her neck of the woods). It was almost as good as having her here and made the game a lot more fun to watch. LP understands the game a heck of a lot better than I do so she was able to make sense of things for me. Final score was 24-35, and the Steelers will move on to play the Ravens next week, for the AFC Championship. The Eagles won today as well, so I'll have two teams to root for next weekend (if I remember, that is).
