Happy meme, day #2

1. Post about something that made you happy today even if it's just a small thing.
2. Do this everyday for eight days without fail.

One, it's the last day before a long weekend. This is always made of win.
Two, it's an absolutely gorgeous, picture perfect spring morning.
Three, I started out the day listening to new music. I bought Pretty. Odd. by Panic at the Disco a few days ago. Absurdly silly lyrics, ridiculously bouncy music. Possibly the best thing to listen to first thing in the morning.

I stopped in at GameStop after work today and picked up a USB microphone and an SD card for the Wii. I got both used, although the microphone at least had never even been taken out of its original packaging. I also stopped at B&N and picked up To Say Nothing of the Dog, my next book club selection.

Got home and had just enough time to try the microphone out and do some vocals on RockBand. Um, yeah, you won't be hearing me sing any time soon. I do well enough to follow along on the easy setting, for the songs I already know the lyrics to, but apparently on the easy setting you don't have to get very close to be considered on tone. Fun though. *vbg*
