I seem to have forgotten to do my happy meme yesteday. So, better late than never, right?

One, I spent the morning lazing in bed reading a good book, To Say Nothing of the Dog, by Connie Willis.

Two, I had yummy pizza for supper. Mm, pizza.

So, not as much happy as most days, but mainly because I just didn't do anything other than laze around reading, and then babysitting, and then lazing around reading some more. End of day.

One, I finally made it back to the gym, for the first time in something like a month, and had a successful three mile run.

Two, laughing babies are joy personified. We had lots of laughing babies today.

Three, I'm finally starting to get over this cold I've got. My throat doesn't hurt today, for the first time in a week.

Tax season

Being the very last minute procrastinator that I am, I finally made myself sit down and do my taxes tonight (they're due by midnight tomorrow, for those of you not involved with U.S. taxes). Federal and state were easy-peasy, both done online at one site (although the federal is free and then they trick you into paying for the state, but it gets it done so I don't much care). The Pittsburgh tax site isn't loading however. Probably half the residents of the city are trying to do their taxes tonight. I suppose this means I'll have to try again in the morning. I have too much of a headache tonight to stay up for hours trying to get online. *sigh*
