Tax season

Being the very last minute procrastinator that I am, I finally made myself sit down and do my taxes tonight (they're due by midnight tomorrow, for those of you not involved with U.S. taxes). Federal and state were easy-peasy, both done online at one site (although the federal is free and then they trick you into paying for the state, but it gets it done so I don't much care). The Pittsburgh tax site isn't loading however. Probably half the residents of the city are trying to do their taxes tonight. I suppose this means I'll have to try again in the morning. I have too much of a headache tonight to stay up for hours trying to get online. *sigh*

Ugh, I'm in the same boat. It's taking forever for any tax sites to load in and then I just end up getting kicked off for "inactivity." I should have started earlier, I know, but I just...didn't.

Here it is the next morning and I'm still screwed. I finally got online and the form asks for a PIN. Which is supposed to be on the paper form they mail out. Only I've searched high and low (and I save all that stuff carefully) and I can't find a paper form and I don't remember getting one in the mail this year. So now I have to wait till I get to work and then print out a copy of the form and fill it out at work and put it in the mail and just hope it actually gets picked up on time. Grr!
