Saturday ftw!

In that hazy-mazy time between first waking up and actually acknowledging that sleep is done, I oten have some of my weirdest, wackiest and most fun dreams. This morning, I got up, fed Mal and immediately crawled back into bed. I then had a really cool dream that integrated some ideas I've been playing with for a story. I did my best to write the salient bits down when I got up this morning, and I'm going to try to play around with it and see if it can't be turned into a real story and not just a wacky dream. I've never participated in nanowrimo before, but if I can get this thing plotted out in the next month, I may give it a shot.

I had a hair appointment this morning and I think my stylist has finally found the right color for me. I'll see how it settles out over the next few days, but I may be ready to go permanent next time I go back (not till December, so I have some time to think).

I also made it to the grocery store for the first time in ages, so I count today a complete success, so far. Later on, there will be Merlin to watch and at some point I need to find the episodes of tv that I missed last night because I was listening to the hockey game instead. And there's another hockey game tonight, so the rest of today seems pretty well booked up with nice, quiet restful activities. Yay weekend!
