I made a stop at Radio Shack on the way home from the grocery store this morning. My iPod died months ago and I need a new one. I've been debating all the options for the past week and finally made a choice. I'm now the proud owner of an ipod Touch. It will give me music on the go, but also internet anywhere there's wifi, and all sorts of fun apps if I choose.

I'm watching the Pens/Capitals game and it's not going well. The Caps are up 2-0 at the end of the second. The Pens looked pretty good most of the first period but the second was the pits. I'm hoping they can come back in the third, but this would be the third time in a week that they dug themselves out of a nice hole and I am not optimistic.

In better news, I've got a crockpot full of chicken chili bubbling away in the kitchen. I found a recipe on allrecipes.com and I'll let you know if it's a good one.

And that's the Superbowl taken care of for another year. The Steelers looked like it was their first time to the party. They got it going in the second half but it was too little, too late. If I liked football as much as hockey, I'd be feeling a bit crushed right now. Luckily, I don't, so I'm not. Disappointed, sure, but no more so than at any other loss.

This weekend went by way too fast. I hate that it's already Sunday night and I have to head back to work in less than twelve hours. Boo!
