I made a stop at Radio Shack on the way home from the grocery store this morning. My iPod died months ago and I need a new one. I've been debating all the options for the past week and finally made a choice. I'm now the proud owner of an ipod Touch. It will give me music on the go, but also internet anywhere there's wifi, and all sorts of fun apps if I choose.

I'm watching the Pens/Capitals game and it's not going well. The Caps are up 2-0 at the end of the second. The Pens looked pretty good most of the first period but the second was the pits. I'm hoping they can come back in the third, but this would be the third time in a week that they dug themselves out of a nice hole and I am not optimistic.

In better news, I've got a crockpot full of chicken chili bubbling away in the kitchen. I found a recipe on allrecipes.com and I'll let you know if it's a good one.

Thanks. The toy kept me occupied all day. The chili smelled great and tasted okay, but the recipe needs some tweaking before it will be perfect.

Glad to hear that there will be/has been good food at the end of the day. Hope the Pens managed to win and that the Steelers will do the same!

It was not a banner day for Pittsburgh sports, but luckily, the Penguins at least still have lots of games ahead of them to play better. The Steelers, well, they get to have a nice long break now to think about what they did wrong.
