Costuming, whee!
Jul. 19th, 2014 11:21 amIt was one of those nights. I slept for a couple of hours until about 1, then tossed and turned for a good four more, feeling as if my bed were actively attacking me most of that time. I got a little more sleep between five and seven, then a good three hours after I got up to feed the cats. Good thing is, it's Saturday, I was able to sleep until ten and I feel marginally human now. I'm in the mood to make progress on my costume. I think I'll spend a couple of hours trying to come up with other costume ideas so that I have more than one to take to D*C with me, then work on the clay in the evening (thus limiting the amount of daylight hours that I run around with greasy fingers and clay stuck under my nails while trying to do other things).
My To Do list currently contains only twelve items that must be done in the next 39 days before getting on the road for Atlanta. That seems eminently doable. I'm well aware that some of those items will need to be broken down into tens or hundreds of smaller items once I get closer to working on them, but I'm not thinking about that right now. Indeed, it might be the sleep deprivation talking, but I'm feeling cautiously pleased and optimistic about getting things done in satisfactory order.
