Mmmmm coffee
Mar. 11th, 2015 09:52 amYesterday I tried not buying coffee on the way to work. I made a pot at home, of decaf because that's what I have, and then sternly resisted the urge to stop at Coffee Tree for 'real' coffee. The unintended consequence of that was a day of decaf. Not good. Not good at all. I was finally able to get to the staff lounge sometime after two and add a bit of caffeine to my travel mug, but barely had time to drink any of it.
Today I stopped and bought coffee because caffeine is the source of all that is good and light in this world. And honestly, I usually only drink one 16 oz half-caf a day, so it's not like I'm going overboard on the stuff. But the week that I'm trying to get myself back into walking and eating healthy (and less) is not the week to also cut out the only thing that keeps me going during those tough preschool moments.
