Ah, after waiting for months, Lost finally premiered tonight. I was happy to see that the first half of the pilot was longer than the forty minutes or so they showed at Comic Con. It was good to have that little bit at the end that I hadn't seen. Now I'm really looking forward to next week. *vbg* I like having a show to look forward to each week. Makes the week go faster. Last year there was nothing. I barely watched TV cause it was just too boring.

I'll spare the spoilers out of courtesy for those of you who haven't seen it. I'm terrible at giving the blow by blows anyway, and I'm sure there are better places than here to get that.

I thought it was just me as far as last year's television season went. I watched almost nothing too! I hate the reality shows and some of my favorites like ER had gaone way down hill. I doubt I'll even try to watch ER this season. I watched the first two episodes last year and then gave it up. Maybe I'll just run my Hetty episodes and the Hitchcock collection that I bought instead. LOL
I liked LOST, but I do hope the fast blurred camera shots are fewer and further between next episode. I would like more character developement and less 'wonder what's in the woods?' stuff. LOL

There were a lot of night scenes in this episode, which does make it harder. From what I understand, each episode is supposed to focus on one character's back story a bit. So I think there will be more character development. And I'm pretty sure I've heard that other episodes don't spend as much time on the 'monster'. Hopefully all of this will be true. :)

I didn't really watch anything except for Friends last year. But, I really like Lost so far. Hopefully it'll stay interesting. I can't wait for next week.

I watched Friends too, but didn't go out of my way for it. This I'm going to make sure I see each week. :)

I loved Lost! It was everything I was expecting from all I'd heard, but when I learned earlier today that it was supposed to be 2 hours and they cut it for two hours of The Bachelor I was absolutely floored! What an incredibly idiotic thing to do! I am very much looking forward to seeing Charlie's character unfold. And how cool is it that dear Dommie is able to live and work around some of the best surfing in the world? I read an interview someplace where he said that the guys (the hobbits) were all getting together for New Year's in Hawaii so they could go surfing. Funny how things work out, isn't it?

Wasn't it great! I knew that it was going to be a two-hour pilot split into two parts, and actually, I'm okay with that. They only showed the first forty-five minutes of the pilot at ComicCon and so this had a little bit more than that. Those last five minutes made me happy. *bg*

And you know, those guys are forever going to be known as 'the hobbits'. The hobbits are getting together for New Year's in Hawaii, there's sure to be hobbit surfing!
