I'm not good at spending all day studying. I've been at this for three hours or so and I'm tired of being at the library. On the other hand, I'm getting close to having collected all the articles I need. Then I can take a break, grab something to eat and return to maybe collect some articles on another paper that's due later in the week (the one I'm working on now is due Mon.)

What I've learned today: Thomas Jefferson had a very modern approach to capitalization and sentence structure - in other words, he doesn't capitalize the beginnings of sentences and his sentences tend to begin and end rather randomly.

Aha! My students are just being extra-patriotic and emulating our Founding Fathers with their random sentences. This makes me feel so much better!

Hope you can spend part of today somewhere other than the library or in front of your computer.

Apparently I was very bad about replying to comments this weekend. Sorry about that.
