Apparently I didn't listen to music when I was 18 (or at any time since then) because I don't know most of these songs - at least by title. I think I recognized/liked more songs from the year I was born.

So I looked up the songs for 1995, and I hardly recognized any of them, and the ones I did I was like, meh. Your list at least has some good songs in there; I recognized a lot more off of this one.

Top forty music in the nineties was just forgettable for the most part. That's clearly the message of this meme. :)

don't know how to do those functions on lj but of the 1979 tunes, I knew almost all. Really hated some like the pina colada song and You Decorated my Life but really loved a bunch of them. Fun exercise in time management!
