I'm really tired and should go to bed. But that would just mean admitting that the weekend is over and I have to go back to school and work when I wake up. Blech!

I did get some minimal amount of schoolwork done this evening - the websites are loaded into the matrix (except for one school who's law website seems to be down) and I've got the paper archives done for two of the schools, so that's something. I did not, however, get around to any of the housework I wanted to do this weekend. I was totally crampy so I spent way more time than I intended, sitting on the sofa curled up around my heating pad and watching dvds. I've made it through season two of House and the second half of season one of Venture Bros., so it was an entertaining weekend, at least. Apparently my way of dealing with overwhelming school stress and anxiety is to pretend it isn't there and just slack off. It's a winning strategy, don't you think?

I think so. It's better than a whining strategy. :D And think of all the people who have no strategy at all, and end up with their heads spinning and going splody all over the food court. Yes, indulging in teevees, that reliable goodness, is a very good way of dealing with it all!

I know it may rain this week, but it's warmer now, so walking here and there will be better for you. That's one good thing to look forward to!

(When you upload websites to the matrix, do you wear a leather trenchcoat and dark glasses?)

You won't tell anyone, will you?

I was on the bus from Oakland to Squirrel Hill today and I suddenly pulled the 'stop requested' cord and got off - not randomly but not at my usual stop. It occurred to me that with it being such a nice day, it would be good to get a little walk in, so I followed the route I used to take every day, up Northumberland and down Wightman. It's a beautiful walk, and I saw flowers, so it made me happy.

All of House season 2? Are your eyeballs still in your head or have they fallen out completely?

As soon as I find my power cord for my external drive, I can hook you up with the first five or so eps of season 3. Though I searched quite a bit for it yesterday to no avail, it must be around my place somewhere.

Well, I was kinda trapped there, on the sofa, with nothing else to do. And I still had time to get schoolwork done, go into Squirrel Hill to the Rite Aid, and play around on the computer when I was feeling better, so it wasn't a total waste of a weekend.

Hey, I got through four years of high school, four years of college, and currently three years of grad school with that strategy!
