It's a cat! It's a nun! It's a cat/nun?!

On a happy note, the pattern for the nun's costume is in the mail and should arrive within the next week or so. Yay! Now I need to start thinking about fabrics and such. Instead of the traditional black, it's a greyish habit with a white overpiece, neck yoke and head thing.

Sounds kind of complicated to make - but I can't wait to see photos! (if you want to emphasize your child development background, you could go the whole cat/nun idea one better by being Maynard the cat/nun in honor of the classic study in which three year olds insisted that Maynard the cat became a dog when a dog mask was placed over his face. So, all you would need to do would be to get a dog mask to put over the cat face. Now, wouldn't that by fun!)

That would be entertaining. I'd have to spend a great deal of time explaining the whole thing, I think - how I was not only pretending to be a creature from Doctor Who, but also a cat from a psychological study.
