Well, I remembered to go to my practicum meeting this morning. What I forgot to do was call work and remind them I'd be late. I told my team leader on Wednesday and she has no recollection of that conversation. So when I didn't show up this morning, without calling (something that has never happened before in the six years I've worked there), they were a little concerned. I got jumped on by about five different people almost as soon as I walked in the door. As my director said, at least I know I'm loved. But I feel like such a stupid shit for not remembering to call this morning. (At least I didn't 'pay' for the bus with my driver's license today. The bus driver yesterday morning must not have been too observant because I didn't realize my mistake until pulling my 'bus pass' out of my pocket later in the day to get another bus and noticing that something wasn't quite right about it, lol).

Spent the afternoon with the little, little kids - three hours with the just-turned-one babies and then the rest of the afternoon with the 1 1/2s - threes. Now I'm exhausted. I'm thinking I may watch a bit of Stargate on my computer, in the spirit of community, before trying to get some work done. And then, if I'm not yet comatose, go dancing.

Wow! What a yute you still are! you can use the words "exhausted" "get work done" and "dancing" all in th same paragraph! Good for you!

Well, yes, I did use all those words in one paragraph. However, I think the true definition of yute would have to include actually following through on the planned activities. I did not watch SGA, did not get any work done, and although I did go out, I did very little dancing. I think it's safe to say my yute days are just about out of sight. *sigh*
