Another kitten post.

Kitten boy decided to join me in the shower this morning. He gets so upset when I'm doing something that he can't participate in. Now that he can get up on the kitchen counter with no trouble, washing dishes doesn't bother him any more. But me in the shower is a constant aggravation. So today he decided to be brave and jump in with me. He didn't like it. Left, played with toys in the bathroom for a while, cried piteously, and tried again. Still didn't like it. Now he's all damp - he's been washing himself for the past ten minutes trying to get dry. *laughs at poor little kitten boy*

He is. He's a handful though. I've been having to lock him up in the evenings while I do costuming because he doesn't understand the dangers of hot irons and sharp pins. Poor thing cries and cries, and I just have to steel my heart and go on, ignoring him.

LOL awww that's cute! Aset tries to type all my conversations for me in the morning and evenings when I am checking my email at home or on IM. She's cute, but it gets annoying! *pets cute kittie* maybe he will get used to water.. and then put him on dish duty!

Your story reminds me of my late 120 lb wolf hybrid who liked to me in the shower. He didn't jump back out though!

I have a feeling Mal may get more adventurous about the shower as time goes on. He's been peering in on me for weeks, but today was the first day he felt desperate enough to join me.

Mal definitely isn't keen on being showered, but he's also not keen on me doing anything that he can't participate in. It will be interesting to see which impulse motivates him more in the long run. :)
