Long day ahead...
Sep. 13th, 2007 08:26 am...but at least my iPod shuffle is all charged up.
I started working on my resume last night and then got completely overwhelmed and stressed out, partly about the resume, probably in large part just because I so very much hate job searching in general and am feeling uber angsty about changing to an entirely new career field in which I don't know that I actually have enough skills (I hate you, Pitt) to actually do the job.
So I took what I thought would be a nice, relaxing bath and then had some sort of blood-sugar crash, got all weak, shaky, nauseated feeling. So I grabbed some cookies, hoping to even things out, and lay down for a little while, planning to ride it out and then work on the resume some more, but of course, once I lay down, I didn't want to get up again, so even though it was only ten o'clock, I just went to bed and fell asleep pretty much immediately.
Woke up at twelve-thirty. Didn't go back to sleep. Finally gave up the ghost at two and got up, finished my resume, sent it off to my sister for a look over (I'm sure it's a mess, it was written at three in the morning) and then went back to bed at three-thirty, not to sleep again until after four. Which is what made getting up at seven-thirty so sad.
But then I heard a new song on the radio (I don't know how new it is, I listen to a crappy station) and had to immediately get up and do a little lyric search to find it, because it was made of awesome and I needed to find it. Rockstar, by Nickelback (which was my first guess). I repeat, made of awesome. I totally forgive them for that Photograph crap they had out a couple of years ago.
