It's a seriously gorgeous day out there. If I was still in NH it would be a hiking day - bright blue sky, mild temps, cool breeze. Ideal for climbing mountains.

Well, no mountains to climb in Point Breeze, and no fun without someone to share it with, anyway - I never have learned to embrace the solitude, I just get bored. So I've been reading fic instead. Specifically, Red, by big_pink. This woman captures the boys and their relationship, to each other and their father, perfectly. Plus, she crafts an excellent plot and maintains a highly believable (within the SPN world) environment. Red takes place across three temporal settings, 1992, 1997 and the present, all in the Washington state area. You should all go out and read it if you haven't already.

It was okay. I get pretty bored on the weekends, when I don't have any contact with other people.

I don't really get bored on weekends - I usually have 6 zillion things that I need to do. But I do often feel in great need of conversation by Sunday evening!
