Today was one of those Longest Day Ever kind of days. I had a headache by the time I reached work - probably building up to a sinus thing (although these sorts of headaches often show up and then go away just as quickly and randomly). Licensing people were coming back for a second run-through so we couldn't really relax much, my dairy thing has kicked into overdrive so I was still feeling queasy from last night's cheeseburger, and I was exhausted from a poor night's sleep. Then I only got a fifteen minute break because of low staffing, and had to stay late for the same reason. Grr!

On the plus side, the headache, though still present, is not incapacitating, so I'll probably still be able to watch Supernatural.

Some days you just wonder if it was worth getting out of bed.

I hope the bath was very relaxing and the dinner yummy. :)

No such luck. I don't seem to be able to unglue myself from the computer yet.
And chicken nuggets are dreadful. Why did I buy them?

Sorry to hear that you are feeling a bit under the weather, though it's good to hear that it isn't as bad as it could be.

Do you get these headaches often?

Depends on your definition of often, I suppose. I get them from time to time, start out small and if I don't nip them in the bud (which can be really difficult at work) they can grow to pretty darn intolerable. Today I was actually able to take a handful of Advil before leaving work, so the headache has been reduced to a dull throb rather than the 'OMG my eyeballs are about to burst' pain that it can be.

Thanks. I'm just now telling myself to get off the computer and go to bed. For some reason getting off the computer at night is always a bit more of a process than seems really necessary - you know, there's that on last check of flist, then one last check of email, then another last check of flist, etc.

It doesn't seem to me that the plus side equals the negative side. The Universe owes you!

Oh well, being able to watch my favorite tv shows when they're actually airing rather than having to download them later is a big plus in my book. It means the day wasn't a total loss. But if the universe wants to send something nice my way, I certainly wouldn't object. :)

So sorry to hear about your rough long day! I felt even more for you because LJ displayed an ad for Advil the whole time I was reading your description of your headache. I think they felt that your writing is so evocative that I must have developed a sympathy headache as I read!

Hope you enjoyed Supernatural!
