Me write pretty some day

lil_banik_slave was talking about NaNoWriMo this morning, and I've seen several other people mentioning it lately. All this talk is making me want to give it a try this year. I know I can write a 50,000 word story (A New Kind of Courage clocked in right around 50,000) but can I do it in 30 days?

I'm not going to make a decision one way or the other immediately, but I am going to start brainstorming and see if I can come up with a plot and some characters I like.
