Oct. 23rd, 2007 06:51 pmI've been doing a lot of whining lately, so I thought I'd do an A-Z of the good.
A. Applesauce. Mm, the good, unsweetened variety, which we had for afternoon snack today.
B. Blueberries. Okay, it was blueberry puree in the applesauce but it was yummy enough to merit it's own letter.
C. Cats! Seriously, need I say more?
D. Digital camera. I don't post pictures all that often, but I love being able to see my pics immediately, upload them directly to my computer and have them stored away immediately.
E. Easy going kids. So much better than high-strung, high-pitched wild kids.
F. Fandom. Fandom makes me happy, the creativity, the wank, the joyful participation in all sorts of weird shit.
G. Gilmore Girls. I'm most of the way through season three and still completely in love with the show.
H. Halloween. Possibly my favorite holiday after Christmas. Some years it's better than Christmas.
I. Icons. I've been on an icon accumulating spree lately. My goal is to have icons for every different mood/event/season/weather/etc. I have a ways to go still.
J. 'Jumpers. I still haven't given up on my idea of making a remote control puddlejumper.
K. Kitten. Mal entertains me pretty much every second of every day (at least when I'm home).
L. Laptop. Sometimes it's hard to remember that there was a time, not all that long ago, when I had no computer, no email, no internet. I love my laptop, both for itself and as the gateway to the internet.
M. Mocha latte. Mmm... coffee is good, mochas are even better. I save them for special occasions, but savor them whenever I can justify it.
N. New stuff. Music, tv shows, books, fic, pics, new friends, all good.
O. Outrageous behaviors. As long as they are for the purpose of entertainment, I approve.
P. Pumpkins. Big ones, little ones, ones with happy, scary, creepy faces, pumpkin pies, pumpkin custard, pumpkin lattes...
Q. Quiet. My neighborhood is lovely and quiet, which is a great relief after the crazy days I usually have at work.
R. Rainy days. Lying in bed, listening to the sound of the rain soaking into the ground, seeing the bright glisteningly colorful leaves coating the ground, etc.
S. Sleep. When it's good, it's really, really good. I don't remember the dream I had early this morning, but when I woke up, I was trying really hard to get back into it.
T. Television. I'm sadly a total couch potato. TV keeps me company in the evenings, when I would otherwise just be staring at the walls. At least, on Tuesday and Thursday, tv is my friend. The rest of the time I have to look elsewhere.
U. Umbrellas. Yes, true, most of the time I hate the things, but a nice, brightly colored umbrella on a rainy day can be a very cheerful thing.
V. Violet, purple, happy happy color.
W. Winchesters. Seriously, I love those boys (and I include John in that sentiment)
X. X-mas. Cheerful decorations, fun lights, neighborhoods gone mad, dressing up trees, feasting. What could be better?
Y. Yogurt. Yummy, yummy, yogurt.
Z. Zork. Yeah, I haven't played it in years, but it was seriously fun back in the day.

Date: 2007-10-24 11:26 am (UTC)I keep recommending Gilmore Girls to LP (via Netflix). I think she'd enjoy the humor too. The early episodes, especially, are hilarious.
=D
