So, apparently one of the kids at work has a pineapple 'sensitivity' which his parents failed to mention to us. The projectile vomiting kind of clued me in, however. Combine that with a power outage (after we decided to stay inside because it was too dark outside) and it was a rollickingly fun afternoon!

I wasn't going to look at the RotK EE sneak preview, but I did anyway, because I have about as much willpower as a dandelion fluff.

I pre-ordered the DVD over the weekend and now it's only a matter of days (alright, maybe weeks) until it gets here. *bg* This is my one Christmas present to myself, although there is no way I'm going to wait until Christmas to watch it.

This post is by way of procrastinating, I should mention. I'm trying to work on a holiday fic for Marigold's challenge, and I've got nothing. A bit of a bunny, but no real inspiration with which to work. My tea is cold, and I have no snacks to munch on while I write. Blah, blah, blah.

*wonders where all the hobbits have gone* If anyone sees Frodo, can you please direct him my way? Pretty please? I really should have known better than to try writing Frodo!fic.

Thanks very much! Frodo was very helpful, although he did have a scarf wrapped around his face the entire time. Sadly, all we were able to come up with was a story that was rather too reminiscent of my afternoon, but that's what the muses wanted to write about, unfortunately. Hopefully Marigold won't send it back in disgust, lol.

Seems no one has a complete hobbit challenge story around here this time. Mine is all bogged down at present and running in too many directions. The hobbits are fine, it's the plot that reeks. I need a big ole plot bunny to hop by and help my slowing fizzling one come back to life. I have put out carrots so maybe...

Poor little-Pippin. I gave him a bit of a 'disaster' too. I finally managed to get something written, but I don't think Pippin is terribly pleased with me. I'll have to make it up to him somehow, lol.
