Nov. 20th, 2007 09:14 amI've been observing for well over a year now and I've noticed a definite trend. The combination of temps above 55F and high humidity fry my iPod headphones. So, today meeting those conditions, I grabbed my emergency backup pair of headphones - they have a weirdly muffled sound and they don't fit well, but at least I get music - just in case. Got to the bus stop, got tired of fiddling with the cord to hold it in just the perfect position in order to hear the music and pulled out the backup plan.
Yeah, apparently Mal ate the backup plan. The cord is all chewed up with exposed wires in a number of places. I don't know when he did this, as they were stored in a place that is most definitely out of his reach, but my emergency backup plan needs a new backup plan.
It feels more like April than November today - it's going to be around sixty degrees all day, and the humidity is currently 84%. It feels positively balmy.
Gah! I'm tired and cranky already and I haven't even clocked in yet. It's going to be a long day.
