Wow, I went from 'perfectly fine' to 'nervous breakdown' in about 3.5 seconds today. And it looks like Nervous Breakdown Mode (NBM) is here to stay for a little while, nicely filling the vacancy left by hermit mode. Yay, let's all welcome NBM and make it feel welcome.

I don't even want to read fic. That is the extent of my inner turmoil. Well, actually, that's not true. I do want to read fic, but only very specifically long plotty SGA McKay/Sheppard h/c maybe mildly angsty schmoop along the lines of A Beautiful Lifetime Event, or the Raising Madison series, only not specifically those, because I've read them before and I want something new. But like that. So, yeah, not even reading fic right now.

I completely sympathize with the NBM. It just suddenly is there in front, unexpected and uninvited, and won't budge.

Well, as you saw the other post, I don't suppose I really need to explain more. Mostly, it was just a lot of stuff piling up on me when I have my period and am feeling a little emotionally wobbly to begin with. I'm much better today.

I so know that feeling. Exchange SGA for SG1 and put Daniel in those categories and I've read it all, several times. I'm currently re-reading some fics by one of my favourite SG1 authors (she writes a bit like Baylor wrote hobbits).

Of course. I'm at work atm so I don't have the URLs but try anything by JoaG, ELG, Devra, Jb, Jmas, Pough, Celtic Angel, Travelling One... Most write both gen and slash I think. There's some really amazing Daniel h/c out there, lol. :D Jack gets his fair share too if that is your cup of tea. Most of them do great team stories as well.
