Wow, I actually got all of my cards written, addressed and stamped in one go. This is possibly the first time this decade that I've actually got cards out to everyone I planned to send them to. Hopefully I haven't missed anyone. Anso, I put tons of extra postage on yours, hopefully it will reach you in time.

Speaking of cards, I've received some lovely holiday greetings from lyda_pearl, slightlytookish, beeej, whtmtnwmn and periantari. I also got a card from my dad, completely blank on the inside, other than the printed greeting - not even a signature. To give him credit, he did scrawl 'from dad' on the front of the envelope.

How much do I not want to go back to work tomorrow? Oh yeah, way much. But, only one more week and then I have something like eleven days off in a row. I can get through one more week. Right?

It's a blessing and a curse. We don't get paid for those days, and I tend to be extra hermity, so by the end of it I'm usually feeling a bit depressed, but I always need the break from work.

I am very impressed that you've gotten all your cards out. I'm doing mine in dribs and drabs - yours went out this weekend. Unlike our dad, I did sign it and unlike our mom, I did a bit more than just sign it! But, I have to say I am definitely not up to LP's standard of including a printed holiday letter with multiple color photos. All you get from me is a few lines of hand-scrawled chatter. Oh well.

I didn't put long notes in any of the cards I sent out. But the thought is there, and that's what counts, right?

heh heh, Dad prolly realized he hadn't signed it after he sealed the envelope. Your pkg arrived btw, thanks so much. I haven't actually unwrapped yet, I'm turning over a new leaf this year.
