This is very likely unwelcome advice: but pouring warm salt water through one's nose with a neti pot or some such thing really does seem to help minimize sinus congestion and infections. I'm not sure where you might get a neti pot in Pgh, but I be GNC has them.

I know you've mentioned that before, but it just sounds super unappealing to me. Luckily, I seem to be drying up on my own, with all the tea and relaxing. :)

I agree that it is highly unappealing. I only mentioned it because as much as I hate doing it, if I do it every morning it does seem to keep me from actually getting sick. But, I consider it somewhat more aversive than giving antibiotics to Minette!
