Ugh! Mornings are evil torture devices devised by someone evil. And I'm too tired to figure out how to fix that sentence.

My dreams were closer to reality than usual, but just enough off to be disturbing and unpleasant, which doesn't usually happen to me. I usually *like* my weird, wild dreams. But not this one.

Supposed to get up to 93F today. That is ridiculously hot. I disapprove.

Yeah, I can understand that. The plus side of having the landlady control the heat is that she also pays the gas bill. But I don't mind being cold. I can always put on a sweater or an extra pair of socks to keep warm. The heat/humidity combo kills me because there's nothing I can do to combat it, and I spend a lot of time outside at work so I don't even get to depend on HVAC to regulate things.

I've had a hell of a time dragging my sorry assets out of bed...and off the couch, because I've gotten out of bed and fallen to the couch with the boys every morning this week.

Let's hope the humidity lifts and we can wake up!

Ugh, indeed! It sounds like it might be a good evening to go to a movie and bask in air conditioning!
