Meep!

Now is one of those times when I really hate living alone. Because there is a big, scary spider outside and I want someone else to deal with it.

I was just going next door to do the laundry, and when I moved to grab the handle of the door, it moved, scaring the heck out of me. It is, to the best of my ability to tell, a Bold Jumping Spider.

I am a great big scaredy cat when it comes to spiders and that one is too big, and too scary for me to cross. So I'll just sit in here and cower for a while. I made the mistake of trying to read the webpage I've linked to, but seriously, it totally squicked me out to the point where I just had to stop. I got as far as 'venomous' and was done.

Now I just have to resign myself to never leaving my apartment (or sleeping *shudder*) ever again.

I can deal with the little spiders I occasionally find in the house, but if that one gets in I may just have to move (without my stuff).

I finally geared myself up to go deal with laundry and the spider was no longer in sight. Which was good because I was able to get in to the basement, but bad because I don't know where it is, now. It could be *anywhere*.

Try not to think about it. Spiders in your thoughts are nearly as terrible as they are in person.
