So, I made this determination to not run again until I have health care. Well. I break such determinations all the time.
Today was a running day. It was awesome. In the sense that after having not used the treadmill in several months, I no longer have even the slightest sense of pacing left, so I ran way too fast the first two miles and barely managed the last mile, but I did. Plus, there were a bunch of Navy ROTC types doing P.T on the track and their water bottles were littered all over the place with the saying "Pain is weakness leaving the body." I don't if that helps them, but it was a good motivator for me. Plus, watching all those fit young people tearing up the track made me want to go faster - no small part of why I went too blasted fast the first couple miles.
My knee is feeling a little cranky, and I'll probably be back to the elliptical next week, but those happy little endorphins are firmly in place and I'm a happy camper this morning.
