Exhausted all day, now that it's eleven at night, I'm wide awake. Of course.

I finally started getting to work on my Halloween costume. Last weekend I went shopping and got everything but the make-up.

Ingredients of a costume:


Tonight I started cutting and pinning the BDUs to try and get the shape I want for the skirt. It's the first time I've done this sort of repurposing and I'm trying to figure out how to do it as I go, but I think it's gonna look pretty cool when it's all done. *bg* Mal was feeling extremely playful and feisty while I was trying to work. On the one hand, that kept him away from my new new adapter cord (it came today, yay!), on the other hand, he managed to steal a pin right off the pin cushion once and I had to practically wrestle him down to get it out of his mouth before he could hurt himself. He's a sweet boy, but boy is he a handful sometimes.
