sick day

Stupid stomach bug hit hard around five-thirty this morning. After peeling myself away from the bathroom the first time I called in sick to work and crawled back to bed. And now, I'm starting to think I may be over the worst of it. Okay, that's my five minutes of vertical time, back to bed with me now.

One of the perils of working in the baby room. I've built up a pretty strong immunity to the older kids, but the babies, well, you can't not hold them when they're sick.

I seem to be better. I'm planning a very lazy day today - plenty of missed tv to dl and watch, spend some time with the cats, etc. Although I do think a certain amount of housework might be in order - strip the bed, disinfect everything, etc. yay, housework.
