I finally feel like I'm making progress on the skirt. I finished hemming the legs, now all I need to do is get the front and back panels in. It will still take a little while to do, but it's definitely progress.

Yay for progress! I did grocery shopping and some such tonight. Still haven't come up with everything we want but it's getting there.

Hemming the legs of a skirt? Very mysterious!

Not terribly mysterious. I'm converting an old pair of BDUs into a cargo skirt. I cut the legs off and now I'm hemming them up. Then I've got some inserts of colorful fabric to put in, front and back, to fill in, as it were. :)

Well, you know - I'm turning pants into a skirt, so I'm hemming up what used to be the legs and is now the bottom of the skirt, but it's a lot easier to just say hemming the legs. :)
