wireless, why don't I have you?
Feb. 18th, 2009 12:10 pmNot for the first time, I find myself wishing this building had wireless. Then I could take a five minute break to check email without having to switch computers. Oh well, if the building had wireless, my productivity would drop remarkably, I'm sure. As can be seen by the fact that even without wireless, I've been hard at work for a whole two hours and needed to take an internet break.
But, hey, days like this work is as near to perfect as it's likely to get. I'm doing archives, so I'm alone in a quiet room, listening to Lord of the Rings soundtracks and sorting through old papers. And when I need a people break, I just run out to the baby room for a few minutes. That's what I'll miss most of all when I finally find a new job.
