Is she really still talking about that Germany job?

Well, good bad or indifferent, I have submitted my resume/application for the job in Germany. The application deadline isn't until next Wednesday and then there will be a couple of weeks after that before I can reasonably hope to hear anything, so now starts the nail-biting anxiety phase of self doubt (over my resume building skills), 'OMG I really want this job' itchiness, etc. It'll be fun. And then it will be over and I'll be able to get back to my regularly scheduled life.

Seriously, I really want this job. I would possibly give my right arm for it (or at least my left arm). I have no objective idea of what my chances are. So all I can go by are my previous experiences, which state that I'm unhirable, which I refuse to believe is the case. Just...cross your fingers for me, okay?

Now, I just need to send out about five hundred more applications and I might actually find a job. :)

You'll get one. It took me 6 months to escape the Horrible!job. I came in second out of 50 for a job I really wanted. I was devastated, but thank god they didn't pick me, because a way better gig came along 3 months later.

I will keep this in mind. There've been a few jobs that I really wanted that I didn't get, so maybe the job that's good and that wants me is right around the corner.
