Tired of work

I've had enough with being productive. I got the bedroom all cleaned and tidied (including sorting through a mess of papers that had accumulated under my desk for the past year or more), assembled and made the new bed, and it is a thing of beauty. I also did five loads of laundry, all folded and put away. And that is it. My living room is in disarray, with the furniture all askew and boxes and wrappings everywhere. The kitchen is a toxic waste dump. But the bedroom is pretty.

Now I'm going to play with my Wii. Time for some Zelda, I think.

Normally I don't bother, either, but five loads of clean and unfolded laundry is a lot of clothing to be lying around. Specially since I only have one basket, lol.

Sounds like a busy day. Five loads of laundry - wow! I hope that you enjoyed the Zelda time after all that and that you sleep well in that pretty bed tonight! Meanwhile Mal should have fun in the living room with the furniture all askew and boxes and wrappings everywhere, right?

I have a bad habit of not doing laundry for several weeks, and then do just one load with the essentials, and then when there's absolutely nothing clean to wear, I have a laundry extravaganza weekend. That weekend just happened to fall on the same weekend as the shopping extravaganza this time around.

Mal is having a ball trying to use the old mattress (propped up in a corner for the moment) as a tree to climb. I've had to rescue him a time or two because he gets half way up and then gets stuck and panics.
