Fail!

I woke up this morning to find my Wii deader than a doornail. I wailed and moaned and hovered over it, begging it to wake up and not be dead, to no avail. It's still pretty dead. Of course, I discovered this as I was heading out the door for work, so I couldn't really do any troubleshooting. And I'm babysitting tonight, so I don't know when I'm going to have time to try figuring out what's wrong.

So in the meantime I'm in mourning for my poor dead Wii, less than a month old. :(

I don't know. I did promise to break him into little pieces if it was his fault, but the cords looked okay. I'm going to try unplugging and replugging everything when I get home and see if that helps. Otherwise, it'll be a phone call to the Nintendo troubleshooting helpline.

It is, it is! After chanting a variety of magical incantations, the spirit of the Wii has returned. :)
