Happy meme

I feel very much like starting the day off with a good old rant, but instead, I'm co-opting the happy meme that's going around.

1. Post about something that made you happy today even if it's just a small thing.
2. Do this everyday for eight days without fail.

You'll notice, I left off the whole 'tag eight friends' thing. If you like the meme and haven't done it yet, consider yourself tagged.

Day One:

There are several things that have made me happy today. One, I had a lovely morning snuggle from Destructo Cat.

Two, most of the snow from yesterday is gone and it will be warming back up to Spring today and tomorrow.

Three, it's an archive morning so I'm at work but I still have a reprieve from crying children while I continue to get over my headache/sore throat/other unmentionable nastiness from yesterday.

Awesome! Now it's time to get started on that archives stuff.

I think this is a fantastic meme. What a great way to find the good things in a day that may otherwise have been a bit crappy. :)
