Pens going to Washington

auntiemeeshSeems the Penguins are going to Washington. Both the Capitals and the Hurricanes won yesterday (both of them scoring game winning goals in the final moments of the game, just to keep things exciting), which means the Penguins face the Capitals in the second round.

westwindschild, who was at the Capitals game yesterday. Actually being part of the crowd while watching your team win a series in the last five minutes of game seven has to be pretty frelling exciting. We were both hoping the Devils would win the Carolina - New Jersey matchup, so that we wouldn't be facing off as fans in round two. But you take what you're given and make the most of it. And I'll definitely be making the most of it on Wednesday, next week, when the Pens have their first home game of the series. Thanks to eve11, I'll be at the game. *vbg*
