Day of rest?

Went to breakfast with a friend and her husband this morning. Afterwards, I deposited my tax refund and some babysitting checks (I hate getting paid for that with a check), then the friend and I (her husband had other things to do) took a nice half hour walk up and down the hills of Squirrel Hill before going to see Wolverine. Then a trip to the grocery store and the long walk home lugging all of my groceries. Now I'm ready to sit down and be lazy for a good long while. And possibly take some Advil, as my legs do not appreciate the extra weight when I carry groceries home.

Not a bad way to spend a Sunday.

how was Wolverine? Watchable? I heard it was really bad...

I'm really not the one to judge these things. I tend to like the really bad comics inspired movies. I liked this one, found it very watchable and entertaining. It did have it's flaws, the storytelling wasn't that great. And I think there were a few scenes where you just had to squint a bit over the special effects. But I liked it. So take that for what it's worth, lol.

Next week is Star Trek, and then I don't know if there's going to be anything else this summer that I really want to see. Time will tell, I guess.

I'm still not sure about seeing Star Trek. Like with the LoTR movies, I'm too much of a loyalist to want to see it. Reviews are good though (even from Leonard Nimoy), so I might cave.

Otherwise, yeah, there isn't much coming out of Hollywood that looks good to me either.
