It's a dragon, it's a con, it's Dragon*Con!

After spending the past eight months thinking I wouldn't be able to go, I am now Dragon*Con bound. I was talking with eve11 at the gym this morning and since she is planning to fly, we realized we could go down Friday afternoon, come back Monday evening and I wouldn't have to miss more than a few hours of work. This is always the snag, because most years the days surrounding Labor Day weekend are blackout days.

Now I'm in full-on costume planning mode. Doctor Who themed, of course, probably Donna Noble. Possibly her Runaway Bride look, if I can find a similar enough wedding dress cheap enough. I'm a gazillion inches shorter than Catherine Tate, but we have similarish figures and hair, so I think I can pull it off. Yay costuming! Yay DragonCon!

In other news, today was crazy with the crying kids. That's enough kids, stop being two already, kthx.
