For the gazillionth day in a row, we only have five kids in the toddler room. While I like low numbers, this is a little ridiculous. We (the adults) are all standing around bored out of our gourds. I've been mostly spending time with the kids, while several of the others have been doing cleaning, helping out with organizing shared spaces, etc. Time is passing veerrrryyyyy sllloooooowwwwlllllyyyyyy.

Oh well, it's Friday and the day is almost half over. Soon it will be time to go home and start the weekend. I have shopping to do tomorrow, and babysitting in the evening. Should keep me busy.

Most of the kids haven't started yet. This is the slowest start to the year I've ever had.

They haven't started yet. Most years we get around eight kids from within the center moving to our room at the beginning of the year and then add the rest over the summer. This year we are starting with five. Two kids started this week, but one was only M-W, and another kid is on vacation. So, slow week.
